Outfits: Back and Forth
I leave tomorrow at 4:30 AM to go home to Orange County for a week! Excited for good food, my puppies, and family!! Above is the outfit I plan to fly cross-country in tomorrow, and below is the outfit I wore last night. I like to fly comfortably so just a grey jersey dress, and my mint green bodysuit...might stuff a huge scarf in my bag to use as a blankie just in case.
Beloww, is another outfit I put together last night. I picked up this strapless maroon dress because it was sooo cheap and actually stayed up despite my lack of boobage! I layered it over a sheer blue tee with the perfect worn in texture to it and threw my hair up to make it slightly more unique...not sure if I succeeded...I think it needs some sort of interesting and ridiculous belt. Now it's back to packing, hope you all had a great weekend!! :)
1st: Urban Outfitters bodysuit and dress. Forever 21 shoes. Louis Vuitton bag.
2nd: Urban outfitters dress and tee (way too much UO but there was a yard sale!). Oscar de la Renta shoes. Fendi bag.
How ugly...
Quite the times for my country...earthquakes, swine flu, our President kidnapped and now destituted by Congress...we find ourselves in a political turmoil that, for the sake of this blog's purpose, are subjects I've decided not to rant about. More info here.
My thoughts are everywhere, but dry style-wise perhaps due to the current situation. :P
However, the good thing is that I WILL use this post to please a couple of requests from lovely readers:

And as for the questions on the outfit from this post, what I did was I layered a white, sleeveless (thrifted) BCBG dress and the blue, strapless vintage one over that. Quite simple...big fan of dress layering! Here's a better pic, not very flattering but ehhh...

Outfit: Naked Lunch
Not sure why I'm awkwardly clutching at the hem of my dress...but I was trying to show off the lace-up back which I looove along with the tiny stitch detailing on the front. Still into simplicity for summertime and paired it with my very neglected pair of lace-up shoes, and nude lips with sparkling purple gloss (little vi lustreglass from mac = <3).
Anyway, after getting paiddd on Friday, I decided to purchase my first Lush products. One chocolate-scented, and another strawberry-scented massage bar which is basically a solid bar of lotion which can be used for intense moisturizing! They smell ah-MAZING...but I'm still not convinced that those little bars are worth $9. Anybody Lush-obsessed and have some recommendations?

¡Ya fue un año! El blog cumplió un año el 17 de Junio de 2009.
Así que ya pasó una semana... pero como quiera. Ha sido un largo tiempo. DE VERDAD. Me sorprende incluso a mi ya que generalmente no puedo manterner las cosas por mucho tiempo. Siempre acabo cerrando todo (si no pregúntenle a mis mil blogs) Agyness me ha cambiado, que el fotolog igual ya pasó la prueba del año.

I like the idea of contrasting different shades of off-whites with excessively bronzed skin...it somehow makes me look somewhat tan even though I haven't been able to get ANY sun! The above shoe-less outfit was worn a day or two ago after coming home from a hard day's work...throwing my hair into a top-knot (whowhatwear stole my thunder on announcing that topknots are the best summer hair-do) and exchanging my black trousers for white snakeskin jeans. Then I trotted over to my new favorite bakery to steal wi-fi and enjoy a green tea milkshake as the latest episode True Blood downloaded! :)

Agyness Deyn is planning to quit modeling.
The British star, who has been hailed as “the fashion industry’s next great supermodel” — will return to the UK from New York and concentrate on her acting career.
Deyn is also said to be crushing on The Last Shadow Puppets’ Miles Kane.
“They went on a date and she was really flirty,” an insider told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper. “They are both Northern and have a similar sense of humor.
“She said it’s so boring and lonely hanging around studios all day, she’s not enjoying it anymore. She’s got an acting agent and told them she wants to get involved in interesting British indie films.
“She has known Miles for a while, but they hadn’t managed to see each other for ages.
“When he was in New York recently visiting Alex Turner, she was away working.
“They finally managed to hook up last week and went on a bender to Bungalow 8 and Punk and have been texting each other all the time since.
“She was really flirty with him and he seems to really like her.
“They will definitely be hanging out more when she moves back to the UK.”
